Irene M. (Syko) Zlokas

95, of Baldwin, passed away on August 12, 2023. Born in Windber, PA on March 12, 1928. Beloved daughter to the late Andrew and Mary Syko. Loving wife to the late Peter Zlokas Jr. Caring mother to Dawn (Don) Stanis and Crystal (Ron) Weber. Proud grandmother to Heather Pieffer, Amber (Nathan) Arthur, Aprille (Andrew) Will and Reena Weber. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and family members. Preceded in death by two daughters Starr (Lou) Pieffer and Robin Zlokas and siblings Andrew Syko, Helen Zawinski, Jerry Kunkle, Betty Carioli and Margaret Gaito.

Irene loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed working around her house and feeding the Squirrels and birds.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home; 2935 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11. am. Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA  15227.

Interment will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park
